When installing into DotNetNuke 5.5.5, one gets the warning:
"The package contains files with invalid File Extensions (settings, map, wsdl, disco, wsdl, map, disco)"
But just ignore the warning and it installed fine.

Once installed (from your Host | Module Extensions menu), add this module to a page, then select "Settings" from the module's context menu. This will display the following dialog. Fill out the initial section, then test the connection to the server (I tried with a trailing /default.apsx and had to refresh the page and re-enter the settings dialog otherwise it was never going to respond) and select your list. Cool stuff, thanks to Marian Dumitrascu.

I'm about to explore the other useful SharePoint & DNN links described at www.dataQuadrant.com.

Also note that this just will DISPLAY the list - but not allow downloading/display of the items in the list. At least being able to download/open would certainly be helpful in the future!
